ADP wiki guidelines
You are very welcome to add new and additional information to the Accelerated Delivery Platform (ADP), but please adhere to the following guidelines:
Headings
. When you apply headings in editing pages, please prefer using headings 2 (H2) and use clear heading descriptions. This is useful because search engines search bots always search through these headings. So your captions should contain searchable topics, thus "Smart estimation poker" is a better caption than just "Poker".
Do not remove
. Please do not remove pages. Information to might not seem useful, could be very useful to others, also using the wiki. Moreover, we are using the wiki to write books and articles, and use references to existing wiki pages.
Community
. Although this wiki is concerned with ideas, concepts, techniques and technology around the Accelerated Delivery Platform, it is targeted at the community using elements of the platform. Please do not add any commercial information, as this wiki is not a commercial website. Being company neutral is essential for the community purpose of this wiki.
Language
. Please write all your pages in English. Some of the pages of the wiki are in Dutch, but this only occurs e.g. when we are writing articles for Dutch magazines.
Lists
. Lists are written like this one. Use a bold title for each of the entries in the list such as is done here.
Naming conventions
. Please name your new pages Pascal Cased (initial characters of each word in upper case). To avoid name clashes in the future, please refer to a general topic first, then add your subject. For example, for a page one how to use smart use cases in enterprise projects, do not name your page
EnterpriseProjects
, but name it
SmartUseCasesEnterpriseProjects
, where
SmartUseCases
refers to the general topic, and the remainder to the subject.
Contradictionary
. Although we would very much love to encourage discussion on additions, extensions and improvements of the platform. When you are adding information e.g. concerning technology, frameworks and reference architectures, please do not add information that contracts the frameworks, and architectures of the Accelerated Delivery Platform (ADP).
Annotations
. We very much welcome annotation of all theoretical information on our pages. That is, if you have experiences from projects that support or extend the information on the pages, feel free to annotate the pages with your anecdotes, if this helps to clarify or specify the ideas on the wiki. Please anonimize your anecdotes, but please sign the annotation with your name. This is done to be able to use your signed annotation later in articles or books.
Create an annotation using the box style from your tool bar. Please sign using italics on a new line.
Sander Hoogendoorn
To do
. Mark a location on a page where you still need to elaborate on, mark it with a box containing the upper case to do term, as in the following example.
