Kick off meeting SIG Agile Testing

As promised in the CoP newsletter, I would hereby like to invite you for the kick-off of the SIG Agile Testing on February 26th, 2009 at Capgemini Papendorp.

The aim of this evening will be two-fold:

  • We will facilitate a more general discussion on what you would like to see from and do with this SIG.
  • We would like to discuss collaboration between the SIG Agile Testing and the core team for Capgemini’s agile Accelerated Delivery Platform (ADP).

The Accelerated Delivery Platform targets at accelerating agile projects, and has been successfully applied at various customers, including the Dutch Tax Service, DFZ, Achmea, GVB and FleetSolutions (in Belgium). This platform also provides a strong testing strategy bases on smart use cases. Sander Hoogendoorn, Principal Technology Officer at Capgemini, will elaborate on the platform and its testing techniques, and would like to discuss possible collaboration between the SIG and the ADP Core Team, and the deliverables that result.

A pragmatic overview of the platform can be found at Overview ADP.

The evening will start with a presentation and discussion around collaboration between the SIG and the ADP Core Team. After a short coffee break we’ll discuss further ideas of what could be done within this SIG. Needless to say, your input would be appreciated!

Capgemini Conference Center, Utrecht - Capgemini organized the smart use case and requirements management conference on the 28th of May.

The goal of this conference was to introduce the possibilities of smart use cases to you. We have done this by focussing on identification, modelling and estimation of smart use cases and looking at its use in various types of projects, like .Net, Java, but also BI. The integration in IRMA (the requirements methodology of Capgemini) was discussed just like multiple experiences of customers.

The conference was a huge success. Around 130 visitors were present and the responses and evaluations were very positive.
